3 DAYS AFTER BEEN DECLARED EBOLA FREE (a review)
3 DAYS AFTER BEEN DECLARED EBOLA FREE (a review)
It's been three days now that Nigeria was declared free from Ebola..
Nigeria was declared Ebola free on Monday 20th October 2014, after 42 days
of unreported cases...
WHO Nigerian representative Rui Gama Vaz has this to say:
"This is a spectacular success story that shows
to the world that Ebola can be contained but we
must be clear that we have only won a battle,
the war will only end when West Africa is also
declared free of Ebola."
AS we all know , the first case was reported on the 20th of July...
Nigeria reported 20 cases and 8 deaths one of those who died is a
Liberian airline passenger Patrick Sawyer who brought the virus to
NIGERIA and died soon after...
Thanks to the swift response of the Government and the cooperation of
the Citizens Nigeria is now Ebola free!!!
*continuation of personal hygiene and alertness is advisable so
there won't be other attacks....For now it's Bye bye EBOLA!!!
